As we were born and raised on Corfu, we decided that our first product should be targeted to the market of Corfu, but should also add some extra value to the island's tourist product.

So we give you GPS Tourist, an innovative and pioneering product in the fields of navigation and digital tours!

Corfu GPS Navigator AND Tourist guide

GPS Tourist can perform two distinct functions at the same time. It is a complete car navigator but it is also a digital tourist guide with multimedia capabilities. Of course GPS Tourist shows your position on the most detailed digital map of Corfu available, with an accuracy of under three (3) meters. It also allows you to easily store trips and points you like to MyPlaces, to visit again or show your friends.

GPS Tourist contains the most detailed maps available of the whole island of Corfu and a multitude of points of tourist interest. Our mapping contains the complete road network of the island down to dirt roads. Our maps are continually being updated and upgraded, based on the high resolution data (<1m) gathered by our specalised personel. The fact that we are Corfiots and know our island well enables us to include in our virtual guide next to the well known and famous sights of the island, some more well-hidden but equally enchanting corners of Corfu!

Corfu Points of Interest

But GPS Tourist is also an extensive database containing a wide variety of Places Of Interest (POIs), including useful places (gas stations, hospitals, pharmacies etc), and places of cultural, historical and general tourist interest, as well as a large number of places such as restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and anything you will need during a trip around the island. All POIs are sorted in categories and are very easy to access through the extremely user-friendly menu.

Multimedia presentation

The most impressive feature of GPS Tourist is the ability to offer a multimedia presentation for all Places Of Interest. GPS Tourist contains photographs and descriptions of all Corfu beaches and sights and of the most important and picturesque Corfu villages! This is not just a navigator, it's a comprehesive tourist guide that can guide you to all of the island's well known sites, but also to the most beautiful unspoilt beaches, picturesque villages and breathtaking views, rarely visited by tourists!

User-friendliness

It is very important to bear in mind that GPS Tourist was specifically designed from the beginning to be used by tourists. GPS Tourist is not a navigator that will immediately ask you "Where do you want to go?", because you probably don't know that yet! You can tap on the map to browse around the island, using the menu to see what each place has to offer, before making a choice. GPS Tourist has been designed with user-friendliness as a primary concern. You can use the online help anytime, by simply tapping on the HELP button to hear an explanation of what each button does. It's really like having a little friend in the car, a born and raised Corfiot knowing all the best places to visit!
